Tom Waterfield wins Nash Race at Cadwell

A delighted Tommy Waterfield won the Nash race this weekend in Simon BE's Supersports, in what were very wet and slippery conditions. Eddie Williams was 2nd in Charles Gillett's Supersports, and Tony Lees 3rd in Cognac.  Other successes included Louis Parkin winning the Under 30's handicap race, and a Nash 1,2,3 in the Pre-war handicap race, with Captain Steve taking the win, Paul Weston in 2nd and Martin Nash in 3rd.  Simon Blakeney-Edwards won the Geoghegan Trophy for 1st 1500cc vintage car home in the Standard & Modified grid.  Congratulations to you all, and to all Nash drivers for keeping it (mainly) on the black stuff in treacherous conditions!
