The Frazer Nash car Club is a vibrant, competitive and extremely lively ‘gang’ of over 500 members. The historic core of the Club has always been the owners of pre-war chain-drive cars but the number is swelled by owners, at home and abroad, of GN and Frazer Nash cars of any year, plus those who are just enthusiasts for the marque.
With 80 years of history, we are proud of the Club’s traditions, but determined in carrying forward the enthusiasms and endeavours that have created those past achievements. A quick look at the Events and Competition pages on this site will show how engaged the Club is both competitively and socially. Whenever there is a challenge, a Nashman will rise to it!
The Club has its own subsidiary company, Frazer Nash Ltd, providing replacement parts to works drawings for chain-drive cars. Also available is a Workshop Manual, stuffed full of knowledgeable articles on the intricacies of keeping chain-drive cars on the road and race track.
Three times a year the membership receives the eagerly-awaited Chain Gang Gazette – and back issues are invaluable reading for all new members.
Associated with the Club is the Frazer Nash Archives, based in Henley-on-Thames. The Archives houses four representative Frazer Nash cars – ready to use, of course! – and an extensive collection of documents, photographs and memorabilia relating to the marque.
The essence of the Club is happy, striving, motorsport activity. Ask Nashmen and they will tell you that the Frazer Nash Car Club is quite simply the best car club in the world!
