My name is Michael Böck (Boeck). As even in German Böck doesn´t sound too good I suggest Michael. I have been observing the Frazer Nash scene for some time and of course the club is obviously the best in the world, as was mentioned in the Video about the history of Frazer Nash. Just like the cars from Archie Frazer Nash.
I am the new owner of the ex Frank Allocca, John Maitland, Sir Derrick Verner Targa Florio and am exceedingly happy to own this car now. I love British sports cars and already have some of them. It all started with my 1963 MGB, that I bought when I turned eighteen, 32 years ago. It looked more like the flintstones family car then – there was not even rust, it seemed that only the wholes kept the car together. Also like the flintstones family car you could drive it with your feed down on the ground. But I fell in love with it and restored the car. So I learned a lot about these classic cars.
Since then I was active in the Austrian scene. Being former member of the board of the oldest classic car Club OEMVC, I organised many events. I am also regular participant on events on the race track with my Porsche, but only at smaller club events. Luckily my whole family shares this enthusiasm with me. My wife drives a Steyr Puch 650T, an Austrian Car with a Fiat 500 coachwork, which is now close to finishing its restoration. My three boys (8, 13 and 15) also love these classic and vintage cars. We have a permanent ongoing discussion about the acquisition of an Austin 7 for them, since they got to know these at Patrick Blakeney Edwards workshop.
At the moment my Frazer Nash is still at Patrick Blakeney Edwards’ workshop for a final check
I had planned to have it´s first official appearance in Austria in Mai at our famous Gaisberg Rennen (Hillclimb), which is the best we have in Austria I think. But because of this virus they had to cancel the event for this year. I would love to take part at some events in GB and I will do my best to do some
I already own a Aston Martin DB2/4 Vantage, a pre-war Lagonda 3 litre, my early MGB as my daily driver and as mentioned before, the pride of my wife Patricia is the Steyr Puch 650 T. Not to forget our 2015 Goodwood Revival starter, the Austin J 40! When you admire British cars you certainly have to be fascinated by Frazer Nashes and finally I am really happy to have my first one in the garage. Maybe to be continued with a pre-war…???
