Lost Nash EXC 465

Hi James. Sone photos cropped up in my mums photo album of this Nash owned by a friend of hers. Don't know who has it now but they might be interested in seeing them. Can you ask on the website

EXC465 – That is the BMW engined ‘Reply’ the only chain drive car fitted with a BMW engine by the works – a 319 I suspect definitely not a 328!
It was once owned by Geoff Hare. I think it has disappeared from the register sadly but must exist somewhere

The “Reply”, third-from-last chain-drive car made by AFN, was last heard of in Germany, and seems to have gone to ground - unless Winston has tabs on it? It is a very pretty car, with its Aston Martin-like cycle wings, but according to somebody who knew the car intimately, there is very little leg-room inside the cockpit. As with the Elektron ‘Nash, so maybe a short-chassis car? The chap sitting in he car, “H.W.N”, possibly the owner, doesn’t match the initials of any of the recorded owners. Does anybody know who it is?

I understood that it was slumbering somewhere in Scandinavia. I’ve got an assortment of Reply-related 319 parts which came from Geoff Hare and will be offering these for sale on the website shortly.
