The Club is looking for some volunteers to take over the role of event co-ordinator(s) for this historic challenge, which we are very keen to restage.

First attempted in 1936, and run at varying intervals over the years, the last event was run in 2015 and was brilliantly co-ordinated by David and Lucy Leigh. Whilst originally undertaken in good old Blighty, road conditions and traffic build-up necessitated a move over the Channel to France.

A route and road book already exists, but would need to be checked and updated in line with current fuel stops, speed bumps, limits and cameras. The majority of the hard graft has already been done for you, and the route check would be a fabulous excuse for a quick trip to France.

If you're at all interested in helping to preserve this slightly bonkers (and therefore very appealing to Frazer Nash owners) event, please contact David Leigh at david.leigh@ci-bcp.com. It would be a shame to see it disappear....
