Hammerwich Pre-War Car Gathering 2023

Would you be interested in attending an event that celebrates pre-war cars?

The motoring calendar is filled with events catering for ‘classics?. The problem is that the term classic is not defined and so they could have been built last year. This event is different.

It will only be open to veteran, vintage and early classic vehicles and not be competitive. It is an opportunity to share knowledge and experience with others for whom cars built before WWII hold a particular fascination.

This will be a ticketed event to control numbers, but tickets will be free. There would be no restriction on make, model or place of origin and other vehicles such as motorcycles and commercials will also be welcome. It will be held in Hammerwich, famous as the site of the largest hoard of Saxon gold and silver ever found and centrally located in the UK.

The event will be raising money for the Lions through voluntary charitable donations and the initial trial event will take place on 2nd April 2023. If it is successful, a bigger event will be planned for September 2023.
